Five Tips On How To Write Articles For Your Business

January 8th, 2011

Do you want to direct more traffic to your website long-term? Article marketing may be just the ticket you need to achieve this goal. Most of the time, the average person who is online is looking for information on a topic.

If you use article marketing, you provide high quality and informative articles that are posted on various article directories online, and you also increase your web traffic.

Here are five tips to help you write informative, useful articles that benefit your business and expand your internet marketing prowess:

1. Remember, both the content of the article and the title are critical. You have to find the best title possible, so that you can get keywords that fit your objective. The title is what is going to really pull in potential readers. If your title is interesting enough, someone may then decide to give your article a chance.

2. Don’t be all title and no meat. An interesting title won’t gain you a readership if you don’t back it up with an article that has informative content that supports the title. You do not want someone to click on a title for an article and then leave in disgust, feeling shortchanged. On the other hand, when the reader gets the information as promised, there is a much better chance they will visit your website or sign up for your service.

3. Be clear and direct. You want to write in concise sentences, and have coherent thoughts and good article structure. No one is going to suffer through confusing garbage or long dragging accounts. Be brief, be informative, and get the job done. This builds your online credibility.

4. Use your resource box. You have to not only promote the article you wrote, but also yourself! You need to establish a strong online presence, and this includes credibility in your chosen niche.

5. Keep writing! Be enthusiastic, and keep at it even after you’ve written your first two hundred articles! Two hundred more would be even better still.

How To Be Successful In An Online Business

January 2nd, 2011

Maybe you have heard this quoted phrase, “Everybody wants to go to Heaven, nobody wants to die.” This phrase can easily sum up what running an online business is all about, and how to make it a success.

To start an online business is basically pretty easy and doesn’t cost a lot of money. The ideal situation is to succeed and profit in your online business, but it takes certain skills such as persistence, commitment, dedication and EDUCATION.

It is in the area of education where people tend to have problems. It is very easy to get a website these days, but very difficult to make it profitable, in fact it will cost you money to have and maintain it.

Getting training is easy as many of the programs teach the same material and cover a fair share of information about running an online business. The primary goal is to get the search engines to notice your website, and most of the search engines operate under the same principles.

The online gurus all teach what the search engines are looking for and what they want in a website.

Time, patience, money, all these things are needed to make an online business successful and many people just don’t have enough of them and thus end up quitting before they reach their goals. It takes some amount of persistence to make an online business success. It will not come overnight and you will not “get-rich-quick.” Many start an online business and have no idea where to begin or how to keep it going. They simply lack the education needed to make it successful.

In order to be successful one must first get educated in how an online business is run and how to make it profitable. There are many training programs, some paid, some free, but the best education comes with a price tag if you want a well rounded one.

It has been my experience as a successful online business person that the best method for getting training is to sign up for a low cost program with someone you can partner with or have as a mentor to guide you along the path to success in your business venture.

New Photo Illustration

May 4th, 2010

The most productive way to visually articulate a story or article is by employing some sort of illustration. This can be seen in mainstream media everywhere, including the world wide web, T.V. and books. There really are no restrictions to the varieties of sources that can be used to create illustrations. The artists who are responsible for this have a habit to specialise in a unique niche and style, using a particular or much-loved medium, like painting, drawing or digital pens.

A lot of illustrators tend to specialise in a specific niche, whether it be digital or traditionally executed. Illustrations are used to accentuate and emphasize journals, magazines, stationary, greeting cards, adverts, commercials, T.V shows, books, posters and children’s books, along with a lot more commercial projects. Currently, children’s books are one of the most prominent niches and many agencies have been set up and established in order to encourage and take care of experienced artists.

Ben clarifies that within most of his creative roles, he has shown a good natural talent for advertising copy and publishing sales. He contributes that he has always been accountable for every one of his own straplines and promoting promoting copy.

A great deal of illustrators study their necessary skills without any direct training. It comes naturally to most people with their skill developing over time. Much more people now however, are taking college and degree courses in digital illustration to improve their skills, which were not offered 15 years ago.

Illustration can be broken down into more and more sub categories. For example, there are classes in visual communication, fine art, general illustration, animation and graphic design, all of which contain illustrative techniques at some level.

A very good way of boost your portfolio, is to interact in some sort of work experience with a locally established company. They can help you to realize how to deliver work to your client, hit important deadlines and maximise your likelihood of getting more design jobs.

1000’s of sites are being added to the internet each day, and a huge variety of them count heavily on illustration of some kind. This is where many illustrators capitalise on work possibilities, by doing banners, introductions and other types of imagery.

Set Up A Webinar Quickly!

March 19th, 2010

If you want an effective way to communicate with hundreds, even thousands of people, look no further than a webinar. This modern tool enables you to present your ideas, products or services to tons of people all at the same time. All it takes is a few simple steps to plan out a webinar.

Step 1: Design a presentation with a strong call to action.

Whether you are using the webinar to sell condos or tell them you are the best dentist in town, every webinar should have a call to action. That “call to action” could be go to my web site and buy my product …or it could be pick up the phone and schedule an appointment, but the goal of every webinar is to get the webinar attendee to DO SOMETHING! Never forget this.

Create a powerpoint presentation that educates and engages your attendees. Tell them exactly what you want them to do and how to do it. This is the most fundamental rule of webinar planning.

Step 2: Choose a webinar hosting company.

As you think about your needs and your budget, you will want to pick just the right webinar hosting company. There are lots of options. If you think you will have no more than 1000 people and you are going to host lots of webinars in a year, your best bet is GoToWebinar.

Step 3: Set up your webinar.

Once you have chosen a webinar host, you need to know how to set up your webinar. The webinar host will have a set up page that will ask you for a webinar title, description, date and a time. It will also ask you to set up any polls or surveys.

Polls are a great way to generate interaction with your attendees. A good poll question would be, “What is stopping you from achieving success in (your topic).” You would show four obstacles and allow them to choose the most important obstacle to them.

This will prompt them to acknowledge a problem they are not easily able to fix. They then see the results of the poll live on your webinar and realize there are others who have the same problems. In many cases, they see their need for help and want to buy your products or services.

You can also use an exit survey when conducting a webinar. See if your attendees enjoyed your presentation, and ask them what helped them the most. You can use their responses as testimonials for your next webinar or webinar replay.

Also, ask them if they would recommend your product or service to their friends and family. If they answer “yes,” then pick up the phone and call them after the webinar because they have indicated they are a hot prospect and warrant a phone call!

Step 4: Create your own registration page.

After you set up your webinar, you need to invite your attendees. You can use the generic registration page that the webinar hosting company gives you, or you can create your own. I prefer to create my own so I can control the look and feel of the registration page. This also allows me to differentiate myself from all the other webinars out there.

One million dollar tip: ask for full-contact information on your registration page. That way you can send them an automated phone message right before the webinar to remind them (they will thank you for this!). And if you have their mailing address, you can follow up after the webinar with postcards or sales material.

If you feel up to it, you can even offer a special price or package to encourage more sales.
