Affiliate Network - Turn Your Blog Into An ATM

June 14th, 2010

Today, it is not out of the ordinary for a blogger to join an affiliate network to monetize their blog. However, just six or seven years ago the majority of people did not know what a blog was, and now many of these people are bloggers themselves. In other words, the blog world has grown exponentially. Consequently, the competition has stiffened. In the olden days, all that you had to do was start a blog, and you would have a flood of traffic. Nowadays, this is no longer the case. If you want to receive weekly payments from your affiliate network, you need to do quite a bit more to get traffic to your blog. Below, we will discuss three of the more important steps which you should take to get more traffic to your blog.

1. Your blog’s content has to be valuable and informative to your niche market. If you miss this step, you are going to have problems attracting readers. Moreover, it is critical that your blog maintain a constant theme that is highly relevant to your niche. If you frequently go off topic, your readership will wain. Plus, the affiliate network products which you promote will be those which people in this niche market will benefit from. Therefore, you need to stay consistent.

2. Frequently updating your blog is extremely important. Your readers will get into the habit of checking your blog to see what new and interesting things you have to say. However, if you are sporadic with your blog posts, readers will become frustrated and go elsewhere. My recommendation is that you try and update your blog three or four times per week. If you can only do so three times per week, try and create your entries on the same days of each week. Additionally, make your readers aware of your RSS feed. That way they can subscribe to your blog, and do not have to keep checking back to see if you have made an entry.

3. It is important to let the world know that you have a blog, and that you plan to update it frequently. A good start is to submit your blog to as many blog directories as possible. Also, try to visit forums in your niche market and answer questions which have been posted. Each time you answer a question, make sure that the URL to your blog is in your signature line. Keep thinking of new ways to bring attention to your blog.

All in all, there are other things that you will also need to do in order to make your blog a success, and generate hundreds of dollars daily with your affiliate network. With that being said, by no means should you neglect to implement any of the aforementioned strategies.

How To Make Money - Let Your Customers Know You

May 12th, 2010

Do you know how to make money by creating a strong relationship with your customers? If not, I would strongly suggest that you start by using an auto-responder. In the internet world of business, your auto-responder is akin to a public relations team. This is a great tool as it is set up to instantly respond to any email which it receives.

Over the years, these auto-responders have gotten more and more popular. However, the vast majority of entrepreneurs still fail to take advantage of them. This is a major error on the part of these individuals, as auto-responders are a necessary element of their business. While auto-responders are more frequently used to respond instantly to email messages, they have a myriad of uses. For example, they are extremely helpful in filtering and organizing responses from customers. All that you need to do is to initially set your auto-responder up, and it can do the rest on its own.

Some of the major uses of an auto-responder is to send out free information for those who request it. For instance, you can give away a free eBook, course, article, report, software or anything else you can think of. The relevance of giving away something for free, is that it must be delivered by email. As a result, every time someone request information from your auto-responder, you capture their email address and legally add them to your email marketing list.

If you simply wish to send a broadcast email to your subscribers, this is not a problem. Not only can auto-responders handle the load, they also can personalize each email with the recipient’s first name, so that it looks as though you are sending the email to that one individual. Therefore, if you have an email to send to your opt-in list of 12,000, you can refer to each person by their first name.

When it comes to keeping customers updated regarding new products or services, auto-responders enable you to broadcast an email to your customer list in seconds. There is not need to worry about server capacity, as your messages will not sit in your Outbox. Furthermore, if there is an issue with delivery, you will be notified by your auto-responder, and can attempt to resend.

Thus, it is clear that it is of great benefit for any person involved in online business to find out how to make money with an auto-responder. While more businesses would benefit from this outstanding tool, just make sure that your business benefits.
